Jagger had been practicing racing for years, hoping to achieve his own glory one day.
In fact, he dreamed of racing abroad because he had heard of a racing legend named Chris.
Chris always wore a helmet during races, so no one knew what she looked like.
Jagger wanted to use his exceptional skills to catch Chris’s attention and ideally become her disciple.
This race was a global event, and many skilled drivers were expected to participate. He was excited about it.
Of course, he hoped that Chris would notice this race as well.
Kyle continued,
“I heard that this race will be broadcast globally. If you win, many car companies will want you as their spokesperson.”
In other words, it would bring funds to the Hill family.
Jagger could also have better opportunities.
“Trust me, Kyle.”
Jagger was confident.
“I want to become Chris’s disciple after this race. I hope you won’t stop me.”
Gary smiled.
“I thought racing was dangerous, and I didn’t want you to take risks with your life.
Since you love it so much, I won’t stop you anymore.
Go pursue your dreams. Kyle and I will take care of the family.”
Jagger was touched.
“Thank you, Gary.”

Gary waved his hand.
“Alright, go get some rest. I hope you outdo yourself this time.”
“Okay.”
Jagger valued this race and knew he needed plenty of rest.
So, he went to bed obediently.
After he left, Gary lit up another cigarette.
He seemed a bit frustrated.
Kyle knew what he was thinking.
“Gary, are you thinking about Sandra?”
Gary nodded honestly.
“If I had suffered for over twenty years, I would feel resentful too.”
Kyle rubbed his forehead.
“Emily has been living a luxurious life as part of the Hill family for over twenty years, but it turns out she’s just a village girl. Don’t you feel sorry for her?”
Gary didn’t argue.
In fact, he was partial to Emily.
In the middle of the night,
Sandra was awakened by rustling sounds.
She got annoyed.
What was happening?
She got up and saw Wesley walking out.
“Hey…”
Before she could finish, Wesley swiftly shut the door.
The room instantly became dark.
Sandra sat on the bed for a while and eventually walked out of the room.
Wesley was sitting on the sofa in the living room, and Joey was reporting something to him.
As she got closer, she overheard their conversation.
“Mr. Cooper, you can buy the car back.”
Wesley’s tone was cold.
“No need.”
Joey choked.
“Mr. Cooper, I know you have a special attachment to the car…
But Corolla Mountain Road is known worldwide for its danger.”
Wesley nodded.
“I know.”
Joey tried to persuade him.
“Mr. Cooper, you’re still weak. Racing requires high intensity and endurance. It doesn’t matter if you participate in the race, but all of Mrs. Cooper’s efforts may go to waste.”
He thought about the Cooper Mansion.
“Maybe this whole thing is a trap set by Debra.
She lost face in the technical department because of Mr. Cooper…”
“She needs a win to control you.
She knows how important the car is to you. She’s trying to take your life in a legal way!”
Joey despised Debra.
Zachary had warned them, but Joey always felt that they were family and that Debra wouldn’t be too harsh on Wesley.
He was proven wrong!
Before, Wesley and Sandra had expressed their desire to gain power, but the people in the Cooper Mansion had tried their best to discourage them. They were despicable!
Sandra leaned against the wall and interjected.
“When does the race start?”
Joey was startled. “Mrs. Cooper, how long have you been there?”
Wesley glanced at her and replied, “She came with me.”
He knew Sandra had come out, but he didn’t avoid her.
He trusted her.
Joey breathed a sigh of relief.
“Tomorrow night.”
Wesley squinted. “Are you going?”
Sandra smiled. “Can’t I?”
Joey was completely taken aback. “Mrs. Cooper, please don’t act impulsively.”
Racing was dangerous.
Moreover, the last time Sandra drove, she got into an accident.
“Mr. Cooper, say something.”
Wesley tapped the armrest of the sofa.
Then he slowly said, “Go to the garage.”
Joey was shocked.
The couple must be crazy.
In the middle of the night, the underground garage was lit up. Sandra stood in front of a row of cars, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
She took a few steps forward and touched the hood of a car.
“Nice car.”
Joey handed her the car keys.
She opened the door and got into the car.
One by one, she tried out the cars.
The engine roared.
It was deafening.
Finally, she came out of a silver-gray car and said, “I want this one.”
Joey gasped.
“Mr. Cooper, this is the one you personally assembled.”
When Wesley was young, he loved racing and had dozens of cars in his garage.
But his favorite was this car.
Wesley named it Silver Fox.
Every part of the car was personally selected by him.
Many of the parts were not available domestically, and he even flew abroad to purchase them.
Wesley had a special attachment to Silver Fox.
Joey had mixed feelings.
He believed Wesley wouldn’t allow Sandra to risk this car.
“Mrs. Cooper, you should choose another car.” Joey kindly reminded Sandra.
However, Wesley walked over to the car and pointed at it.
“Take good care of it.”
Joey was dumbfounded.
His eyes widened.
He couldn’t believe his ears.
“No problem,” Sandra replied calmly.
Joey opened his mouth wide.
Sandra yawned.
“Alright, I’m going back to sleep. Goodnight.”
Wesley’s tone was gentle.
“Goodnight.”
Joey pinched himself hard. “Mr. Cooper, are you serious?”
He couldn’t believe Wesley was being so generous.
Wesley chuckled. “Sure.”
Joey suddenly realized something.
During the race, it was allowed to have a passenger in the car. Did Wesley intend to…
