Sandra once again picked up the brooch.
“Do you see this scratch? It can only be made by a sharp .
If I hold it with my right hand, the scratch should be on the opposite side, not here!”
David had someone bring a magnifying glass and carefully examined the golden brooch. He instantly felt extremely embarrassed.
They had misunderstood Sandra.
Sandra looked at the saleswoman, who panicked and flinched.
“What’s wrong? You seem hot,” she asked with a smile.
Instantly, everyone turned to look at the saleswoman.
She was wiping the sweat off her forehead.
As the saying goes, a good conscience is a soft pillow.
She was so nervous because she had a guilty conscience.
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, her face turned pale.
She didn’t seem as arrogant as before.
Clearly, she had intentionally framed Sandra.
David’s face turned livid with anger.
But he still had to handle this matter properly.
He smiled in a professional manner and apologized, “I’m so sorry, Mrs. Cooper. We misunderstood you.”
Sandra retorted, “Just like that?”
David smiled helplessly, “It really was just a misunderstanding.”
Sandra saw through it.

She sneered.

This saleswoman stopped me without reason.”
“And you, Mr. Martin, without investigating the situation, wanted me to buy the brooch out of fear of affecting your business!
Humph.”
She chuckled coldly.
The intimidating aura that seemed to emanate from her bones made the onlookers shudder.
“You slander me and want to trample on my dignity. Can everything be resolved with just a misunderstanding?”
The onlookers, initially curious, were now stirred up by Sandra.
They wished they could all become embodiments of justice and shut down Briani Jewelry Store.
Seeing that the situation was spiraling out of control, David gestured to the saleswoman.
The saleswoman could only suppress her anger and bow solemnly to Sandra.
“I’m sorry, Mrs. Cooper. I misunderstood you before. It’s all my fault. Please forgive me.”
David gritted his teeth and tried to maintain a gentle tone.
“Mrs. Cooper, we will give you this brooch for free as an apology. What do you think?”
Sandra sneered, “Do you think the Cooper family can’t afford a brooch that was damaged by her?”
Angela’s face darkened.
“Wesley’s money doesn’t just fall from the sky, and besides, they have already apologized. It’s a bit excessive for you to take advantage of the situation.”
Sandra’s tone was icy.
“Excessive?”
She suddenly laughed coldly.

Angela’s face stiffened.
But she quickly reacted.
“What do you want to do then? Call the police? Make sure this saleswoman gets arrested?”
Sandra glanced at the saleswoman, whose face had turned pale.
“Since it happened at Briani Jewelry Store, it depends on Mr. Martin.”
Then, she glanced at the entrance.
There were still many onlookers waiting to see how Briani Jewelry Store would handle the situation.
“Mr. Martin, as you can see, many people are waiting to see how Briani Jewelry Store handles this. Otherwise, who would dare to come in and make a purchase?”
David understood the gravity of the situation. Some people outside had already started taking photos and videos.
If the matter wasn’t resolved properly, Briani Jewelry Store could face a public relations crisis. David almost wished he could reprimand the saleswoman for causing this.

The saleswoman trembled.
If Sandra made an exorbitant demand, the loss would be attributed to her, and her career would be ruined.
Angela’s soft voice broke the tension.

“Our store’s membership card gives an 80% discount. It’s already the largest discount.”
David spoke sincerely.
“But today, we did make a mistake. Mrs. Cooper, everything you buy today will be at a 50% discount!”
He had heard that Sandra didn’t have much money on her and couldn’t afford that brooch. The store would lose money on this incident, but they could make it back in the future. Most importantly, he could maintain the store’s reputation.
Angela chuckled.
“Wow, 50%! Sandra, if you can’t make a decision, I will call Wesley and let him decide for you.”
“No need!” Suddenly, a male voice interrupted.
The onlookers at the entrance stepped aside.
Wesley approached slowly in his wheelchair.
He reached his hand out naturally to Sandra.
Sandra was surprised.
Seeing that she didn’t react, Wesley raised his hand higher and grabbed her hand.
Sandra’s eyes widened.
“Let’s go take a look inside.”
The wheelchair automatically moved forward, and Sandra could only follow along.
David’s face turned pale instantly.
If they were only going to the middle section, the losses wouldn’t be too great. But he was afraid…
Hoping that Wesley would leave him an out, David watched as the couple went directly to the inner section.
The items there were collectibles, most of them priceless!
His heart skipped a beat, and he hurriedly followed.
