While Maurice and Nana were talking, Eliana walked out of the room.

"Eliana!" Maurice exclaimed in a low voice as soon as he saw her.

"No! I'll stay in the guest room." As she spoke, she pulled her hand away from Maurice's and was about to leave.

However, Maurice wouldn't give her the chance. He quickly stretched out his arms and held Eliana by the waist. Regardless of her gentle resistance, he guided her toward the bedroom.

"Eliana, I will never let you go," Maurice said firmly, holding her hands gently.

At that moment, Eliana and Maurice gave in to the emotions that consumed them. The feelings had been suppressed for too long, and once they were stirred, they couldn't stop.

Eliana let herself go, relaxing into Maurice's embrace. His warmth helped her lose her worries.

After a long time, they finally calmed down.

Lying in Maurice's arms, Eliana was exhausted. She was also very calm now, as if the emptiness in her heart had finally been filled. She looked up at the man's handsome face. At this moment, she really believed he was her true love. He was her husband.

Eliana hesitated for a while and then asked, "Maurice, did we really get married after all we've been through?"

"Yes!" Maurice replied at once.
