chapter567
Lydia's lips curled into a cold, knowing smile. She'd been expecting this. Of course they couldn't keep it together.
Lydia! You ungrateful snake! How could you treat us like this?" Milana's voice shook with fury as she glared at Lydia, as if she wanted to tear her apart right there.
Lydia met her stare with a smirk, her voice calm and sharp. I can live with it."
She owed them nothing. Not anymore.
Milana gasped, almost choking on her own anger. "You can live with it'? Seriously?"
She scoffed, her voice dripping with outrage. "You're unbelievable! The Smith family raised you for eighteen years. All that time, you never gave anything back. Instead, you worked against Smith Corporation at every turn! And you had the nerve to use our money and connections to secretly start LYLX, never saying a word about it. Then you left and took everything for yourself! Lydia, you're not one of us anymore. Hand LYLX over to the Smith family!"
Juna just stared at them in disbelief. Were they even hearing themselves?
"If you're tired, go home and take a nap. Stop dreaming in public," Lydia shot back, not bothering to be polite.
Jenson's face hardened. He knew Lydia wasn't going to just give in.
Lydia! If you agree to our demands, we can settle this quietly. But if you refuse, we'll ruin you. If we can't have peace, you won't either!" Jenson threatened, completely shameless.
Juna rolled her eyes. "Seriously? Do you guys even hear yourselves? You sound like robbers. You know that's illegal, right?"
None of them responded. Jenson and Milana looked rattled. Everything was happening so fast, they hadn't even had time to talk to a lawyer.
But Sandy, always ready to pick a fight, squared her shoulders. "What's wrong with that? If it wasn't for the Smith family, would Lydia even have what she has now? She used our connections and money to get rich. Why shouldn't it all belong to us?
Juna looked at them like they were hopeless. "What connections? What money? The Smith family had
nothing Lydia could use. If it weren't for her Smith Corporation would've gone under ages ago. Someone else would have swallowed it whole. And you're stufhere arguing, acting like you're some kind of business geniuses?"
As Juna spoke, Jenson and Milana's faces shifted. Memories of past messes popped up, things they clearly wanted to forget.

"Let's be real. Every time you two were in charge, Smith Corporation was on the edge of disaster. There was always some crisis, always complaints from clients honestly don't know why you even bothered running a company. You never had the talent for it. And I was the one cleaning up after you, day in and day out. I'm so over it," Juna said, finally letting all her frustration out.
Jenson and Milana looked completely lost. Sandy, still new to all this, was even more confused.
"What are you even talking about?" Jenson snapped, refusing to admit Juna had a point.
"Oh, you really don't get it? Every time you nearly drove the company into the ground, did you think it just magically fixed itself? Did you think investors and big clients just dropped into your lap out of nowhere? Give me a break. It was always Lydia, making things happen for you behind the scenes."
"No way... That can't be true..." Jenson and Milana looked like their world was falling apart.
Juna just sighed, her tone pure

sarcasm. "Q? Then why did you set up that little shrine at the office? You were always praying for some miracle, begging for the company to survive. Guess what? Your 'miracle' was Lydia. You threw out your own good luck miracle, and now you want to blame her? Honestly you two are the most stupid people I've ever met."
